Might sound like a contradiction but it isn’t: Nordic countries have the fame of being able to warm the south countries with the best electronic music in the world. Being this real, it isn’t a surprise to invite these Norway guys to heat Zambujeira’s summer.
Ketil Jansen and Ulrik Denizou Lund are one of the most powerful duets in the world, when talking about dance music. The band name is homage to a Belgian priest, Georges Lemaître, author of the first theoric proposals for Big Bang. This homage is also an intentions declaration: Lemaître music is an energy explosion that leaves no one indifferent.
The EP series “Relativity” was responsible for the growing fame, namely the second series release “Relativity 2”, leader in some electronic dance music charts, in Canada and USA.
This success had them signing for Astralweerks Records, home to names like Daft Punk, one of Lemaîtres’ most importante influences.
Since then things have gone smooth sailing for the Norwegian duo, with more EPs, successful singles and the long awaited release of their first album, edited last year: “Chapter One”.
“Higher” (ft. Maty Noyes) an “Playing To Lose” (ft. Stanaj) are some of the irresistible songs that Lemaitre promise to take to Meo Sudoeste, August 11th on Meo Stage.
