Free camping from 10am on 5th August until 5pm on 13th August is included with the general festival ticket for the full duration of the festival.Full festival ticket holders can enjoy free camping and parking from 5th August. All amenities will be open: showers, toilets, ATMs, first aid, food outlets, lifeguards at the canal area, washing-up and laundry facilities, communal kitchen, supermarket, security and lighting, 24 hr. medical assistance, etc.Besides the festival general camping area, other camping options and offers are available. Find all the information <a href="/en/accommodation-and-services">here</a>. Concerts will finish on Saturday 12th August; however, campers will be able to stay on up to 5pm on Sunday 13th August.

Camping rules

The following are not allowed in the camping area: Glass (bottles, food packaging, etc) Stoves and Camping Gaz style equipment (*) Weapons or objects that could be used as a weapon Pets (except guide dogs) Explosives or fireworks Any other objects that can compromise the safety of anyone present.

ATTENTION (*) The relevant authorities have determined that this type of equipment is not deemed safe to bring into the festival camping area.Non-compliance with these rules will give the organisation the right to remove any persons from the event, without the right to a refund and with immediate loss of festival wristbands.

Campismo car

At MEO Sudoeste you can camp next to your car. There are two options: Car Camping if you have a general festival ticket or Park & Tent if you only have a ticket for one of the festival dates. CAR CAMPING – general festival ticket holders Car Camping allows festival goers to park their car next to their tent for their convenience. Car Camping passes are sold separately. Each person will need their own festival ticket and anyone wanting to use Car Camping will need to buy this separately (see Tickets / Accommodation and Services area) There is no water or electricity supply available. 1. Each Car Camping pitch is 8x4 m. Campers are allowed a caravan or car and as many tents as can fit in the allocated space (provided camping rules are adhered to). 2. A maximum of five people per Car Camping pitch is allowed. Each of them will be given a Car Camping non-transferable wristband at the time of entry to the festival site. 3. For fire safety reasons, the Car Camping pitches are not in a wooded area and therefore have no shade. 4. Entry to the Car Camping area is allowed from 5th until 12th August, between the hours of 10am and 12am. 5. In order to gain entry to the area in a car, campers must have purchased a Car Camping pass. Each member of the group (maximum of five) must have also purchased their general festival ticket. 6. The tent(s) must be pitched next to the car, with free movement for festival goers inside the camping area thereafter. 7. For safety reasons, exit and re-entry are not allowed. The car must remain stationary until the end of the festival. Campers that require to leave early must inform the Staff team in order to be assisted in doing so safely. The car won’t be allowed back in the Car Camping area once it has left. 8. For security reasons, all cars will be checked on arrival. Non authorised items will be withheld on entry. General festival camping rules apply. 9. On arrival to the festival, Car Camping ticket holders must make their way to the ticket office, where they will need to fill in a tag with their vehicle details. This tag must be clearly displayed on the car for the duration of the festival. They will also need to exchange their festival ticket for a wristband before they can make their way to the Car Camping area. Everyone will be checked on entry, after which they will be able to enjoy the space. 10. A group of people camping with more than one car should arrive together so they can camp in adjacent pitches. Anyone in the group arriving later may take the nearest available pitch. It is up to the group and their Car Camping pass holders to co-ordinate arrivals in order to camp next to each other if they so wish. 11. Only one vehicle per Camp Camping pitch is allowed. 12. There is a limited number of Car Camping spaces available.

PARK & TENT - one day ticket holdersOne day ticket holders can purchase one night camping in an allocated area. Park & Tent allows festival goers to park their car next to their tent for their convenience. Park & Tent tickets are sold separately from festival tickets. Each person will need their own day ticket and anyone wanting to use Park & Tent will need to buy this separately (see Tickets / Accommodation and Services area) Park & Tent does not provide access to the festival general camping area. There is no water or electricity supply available. 1. Each Car Camping pitch is 8x4 m. In order to gain entry to the Park & Tent area in a car, campers must have purchased a pass for this purpose. Each member of the group must have also purchased their own one-day festival ticket. 6. A tag with the name, phone number and car registration of the Park & Tent ticket holder will be given at the festival ticket office. This tag will need to be filled in and clearly displayed on the car for the duration of the stay. The car will be inspected on entry to the Park & Tent area. 7. The tent(s) must be pitched next to the car, with free movement inside the Park & Tent area for festival goers thereafter. There is no access to the festival general camping area from the Park & Tent zone. 8. For safety reasons, exit and re-entry are not allowed. Free buses to the beach / Zambujeira do Mar Buses to Zambujeira do Mar, free for those with general festival camping wristbands, will be in operation between 10am and 7pm from 5th to 12th August. Canal, meo sudoeste’s river beach The Herdade da Casa Branca Canal can be accessed for swimming. There will be certified lifeguards on duty. River beach hours: 5th – 12th August between 10 am and 7pm Camping Area Stage As is now customary, MEO Sudoeste will be offering music at Herdade da Casa Branca right from the moment the campsite opens. From 30th July the fun will be guaranteed thanks to the <a href="/pt/cartaz?palco=palco-campismo">Super Bock stage</a>, which will host the Camper Welcoming Night by Mega Hits. Lost and found All lost property will be held at the GNR (Portuguese Gendarmerie Force) tent, and will be subsequently forwarded to the GNR station in the town of São Teotónio.We request that any lost property be handed to the security staff on duty so it can find its way to the festival organisation.
